USA Health to host 2026 Obstetrics & Gynecology Conference in Biloxi
The symposium offers an opportunity to learn practical, evidence-based approaches, share experiences with colleagues and take that knowledge back to patients and practices.

The USA Health Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology will host the 2026 Obstetrics and Gynecology Conference Nov. 12-13 at the Golden Nugget Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi, bringing together healthcare professionals from multiple disciplines for education focused on the care of women.
The conference is designed for obstetricians and gynecologists, family medicine physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, certified nurse-midwives, nursing professionals, social workers and other members of the healthcare team.
Topics will include recurrent pregnancy loss, excision of endometriosis, adolescent gynecology, HIV prevention, changes in coding, GLP-1 use in menopause, HRT in breast cancer survivors and women at high risk, culinary medicine, domestic violence and more. See the full symposium brochure.
“Continuing education is essential to providing the highest quality of care for our patients, particularly in a field as rapidly evolving as obstetrics and gynecology,” said Mary “Mimi” Munn, M.D., chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at USA Health. “This symposium brings together experts to address issues providers encounter in everyday practice. It’s an opportunity to learn practical, evidence-based approaches, share experiences with colleagues, and take that knowledge back to their patients and practices.”
The conference will feature experts from academic medicine, clinical practice and multiple healthcare specialties from USA Health, and guest speakers including:

- Robert A. DeSantis, M.D., FACOG, obstetrician and gynecologist, Ellisville, Mississippi;
- Robert Israel, M.D., FACP, internal medicine physician, USA Health;

The conference offers up to 12 interprofessional continuing education credits. Physicians may earn up to 12 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits, and nurses may earn up to 12 nursing continuing professional development contact hours. The program is valid for 12 continuing education credits.

The deadline to reserve a room is Oct. 19, or when the room block sells out, whichever comes first, organizers said.
