The Stanton Road Clinic serves as a teaching facility and outpatient care site for numerous clinical departments within USA Health and the University of South Alabama. Our physicians provide primary care using the most up-to-date, evidence-based medicine. In addition to primary care, our services include surgery, trauma, and burn/wound care. We also offer referrals to other specialists to help meet each individual's unique health needs. Being a Patient Centered Medical Home allows us to provide more comprehensive services that often are not found in traditional primary care practices. These services include on-site laboratory, counseling, nutritionist consultations, pharmacy resources, and social services assistance to help address complex concerns in a patient-centered manner.
Within the field of Internal Medicine, we treat a variety of conditions ranging from common infections to chronic health conditions, such as diabetes/hypertension and diseases of the heart and kidneys. Our physicians also provide routine screenings and vaccinations to keep our patients in the best possible health and allow them to continue to enjoy their lives to the fullest. We participate in completion of Annual Wellness Visits for Medicare patients and can manage chronic anticoagulation for those who need their INR monitored.
Interventional Radiology, previously found in the Stanton Road Clinic, now is located in a new clinic on the USA Health Providence Campus.
