The kidneys play a vital role in removing waste, salt and extra water from the body, controlling blood pressure levels, and keeping safe levels of certain chemicals such as potassium, sodium and bicarbonate. When disease or injury prevent the kidneys from doing their job, your doctor may prescribe dialysis to assist the kidneys. USA Health is affiliated with Fresenius Kidney Care–USA Jaguar to provide treatment for patients with kidney failure.
Fresenius Kidney Care–USA Jaguar hours of operation are daily, 5 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Nephrology is the branch of medicine dedicated to caring for diseases and disorders of the kidney. Patients with end-stage kidney failure may be prescribed dialysis treatment by our nephrologists.
