Prior to her appointment, Ezelle served in numerous leadership roles relating to healthcare quality. Most recently, she was director of quality management at USA Health University Hospital. She has also served as director of case management/social services quality at USA Medical Center and director of quality management at USA Knollwood Hospital.

Wiseman, a U.S. Navy veteran and Harvard Medical School graduate, left private practice to become director of the department of pediatrics and director of medical education at then-Mobile General Hospital. When the University of South Alabama College of Medicine was created, he joined the faculty and founded the neonatal intensive care unit, one of the first in the country.

Our organization is made up of almost 3,500 employees who work at a variety of locations, from hospitals and physicians offices to treatment centers.

For the past three years, there has been a significant effort within USA Health to improve access to care at University Hospital. All of the leadership team recognizes how important it is that our specialized, and general, care be available to our community.

Staff members moving into the new space represent a variety of departments including the business office, charge services, accounting and more.

Proceeds from the run support renovation efforts of the region’s only Pediatric Emergency Department at Children’s & Women’s Hospital. The 5K will start at 6 p.m. The fun run begins at 7 p.m. and is open to walkers and runners of all ages.

The program is open to people who are healthy and those experiencing illness from all communities. Unlike a single research study focused on a specific disease or community, All of Us will create a research resource to inform thousands of studies, covering a wide range of health conditions.
