A Night Honoring Healers, presented by the USA Foundation, is an inspiring evening honoring the remarkable stories of our USA Health team members in action as they provide exceptional, compassionate care to our patients.

For every person who comes to USA Health seeking care, as many as 50 to 100 team members may be involved in helping that patient heal and thrive.

Honoring those team members is the goal of USA Health’s signature event, A Night Honoring Healers. Sponsored by the USA Foundation, the event is set for Thursday, Nov. 7, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Mobile Convention Center.

During the evening, guests will hear the inspiring stories of two patients and how they received life-changing care at USA Health. Each of the many team members involved in the patients’ healing, from doctors and nurses to techs and social workers, will be recognized with a medal for providing exceptional, compassionate care.

In 2017, USA Health began recognizing its healthcare heroes, including those in the community who contribute to patient care, during an annual ceremony.

Last year’s event featured the story of a man with Parkinson’s disease who underwent deep brain stimulation to slow tremors in his hand. The second story focused on a woman diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer who received treatment and was ultimately declared cancer free. More than 100 healers were honored for providing their care.
