Fifty-eight USA staff members, including 29 from USA Health, were honored as nominees and winners of the Christie Miree Outstanding Employee Service Award.

The University of South Alabama National Alumni Association recently honored 58 staff members from the university and USA Health who were nominated for Christie Miree Outstanding Employee Service Awards at an annual breakfast Friday, Feb. 28, at the MacQueen Alumni Center.

In addition, five of the nominees were named Christie Miree Award winners in their respective categories, including two winners from USA Health:

  • Administrative - Aimee Meyers
  • Professional - Tahanndra Cunningham, workforce development instructor, USA Health Human Resources
  • Clerical - Sharon Snelgrove
  • Crafts/Trade - Fred Lincoln, grounds superintendent, USA Health Children’s & Women’s Hospital
  • Technical - Scott Hoadley-Clausen

The remaining 53 nominees, including 27 from USA Health, were named members of the US A-Team commending them for their continued dedication to the university and the health system.

The award, named for alumna and USA Trustee Christie Miree, recognizes the excellent service provided to students, alumni, and other constituencies by the employees of the University of South Alabama.
