With a goal of improving the lives of sick and injured children, the USA Health Office of Development recently promoted Hayley Chancey to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals program manager for USA Health Children’s & Women’s Hospital.

Her duties will include actively engaging community members, grateful patients and business leaders to advance the mission and healthcare services provided by Mobile, Ala.-based USA Health and its support for sick and injured children on the Alabama Gulf Coast and beyond.

“We are delighted to welcome Hayley to this new role,” said Beth Mattei, Director of Development for USA Health Children’s & Women’s Hospital and USA Health Initiatives. “Her enthusiasm and experience make her a great fit as we strive to improve the lives of young patients and their families through everything from life-saving equipment purchases to expanded services at our hospital.”

About Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals

Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals is a national organization that raises funds and awareness for 170 children’s hospitals across the United States. More than 10 million children enter a children’s hospital across North America each year. To provide the best care, children’s hospitals rely on donations and community support, as Medicaid and insurance programs don’t fully cover the rising costs of care. Since 1983, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals has helped fill the funding gaps by raising more than $5 billion, most of it $1 at a time, through Miracle Balloon campaigns and other efforts.

About USA Health Children’s & Women’s Hospital

The acclaimed Mapp Child and Family Life Program is designed to create as normal and stress-free environment as possible for children during a hospital stay.
