Make a difference in the lives of USA Health patients by becoming a volunteer guardian.

In this role, you can help meet the need for guardians for adult incapacitated persons in our community who have no family or person willing to serve in that capacity.

Guardians can only be appointed by the probate court in a judicial proceeding and only where the evidence proves the need for such an appointment.

What does it take to be a Volunteer Guardian?

Volunteer Guardians are compassionate, caring and committed. They are 21 and older, have computer access, transportation, the ability to learn basic legal and medical information, can pass a background check, and are able to spare at least four to six hours per month to make a vulnerable citizen’s life better.
