USA Regional Autism Network offers virtual training for area teachers

Sessions will address working with students with autism and developmental disabilities.

The University of South Alabama Regional Autism Network is offering two virtual trainings for teachers in Mobile, Baldwin, Washington, Clarke and Monroe counties. Sessions will address working with students with autism and developmental disabilities.

The first session, titled “Practical Tips and Tools for Young Students with Autism and Developmental Disabilities in the Classroom,” will be delivered by Allie Cramer from the University of Alabama on Tuesday, Aug. 22, from 3 to 4 p.m.

The second, “Post-Secondary Skills for Students with Autism and Other Developmental Disabilities,” will be presented on Thursday, Aug. 24, from 3 to 4 p.m., with John Heinl, M.Ed., PASSAGE USA community coordinator at the University of South Alabama.
