USA Health physicians will lead educational talks for boys and girls at upcoming events at the USA Faculty Club.

USA Health Children’s & Women’s Hospital is hosting two free, physician-led educational talks for adolescents about puberty and development.

Body Basics for Boys

John Sands, M.D., and Alfred Shearer, M.D., pediatricians at Pediatric Associates of Mobile/USA Health, will lead a discussion for boys ages 10 and older about puberty and other related topics. The talk will take place at the University of South Alabama Faculty Club at 6 p.m. on Sept. 27. More information on how to register for the event will be posted soon on our social media accounts.

Body Basics for Girls

Join Nicolette Holliday, M.D., an OB-GYN with USA Health, and Katherine Spadafora, M.D., a pediatrician at Pediatric Associates of Mobile/USA Health, as they discuss the changes girls encounter as they mature. The talk is geared toward girls between the ages of 8 and 12 and will take place at 6 p.m. on Oct. 4, at the USA Faculty Club. More information on registration for the event will be posted soon on our social media accounts.
