Led by the Christian Medical Ministry of South Alabama , the group helped care for patients at Kibogora Hospital, a rural referral hospital in southwest Rwanda in East Africa.

“As the leading stroke center in the Gulf Coast region, we have a duty to share best practices with other stroke centers so they can provide the highest level of care to their patients,” said Emily Dahlmann, CNP, RN, SCRN.

The spring meeting of the Alabama Association of Nurse Anesthetists attracted hundreds of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists and Student Registered Nurse Anesthetists to Sandestin, Florida, recently.

The lecture was presented at the 13th Course on Nephropathology and Glomerular Diseases, an international program featuring leading pathologists and nephrologists and attended by more than 250 physicians and students.
