Sutton named Cheers for Peers winner
Jasmine Sutton, a patient care assistant at Children’s & Women’s Hospital, was named a Cheers for Peers award winner. Shackett named employee of the month
Skylar Shackett, R.N., a nurse in the hematology clinic at the Mitchell Cancer Institute, has been named employee of the month for April. Among the comments shared about Shackett: “Skylar is hard-working, kind, always on time and never complains.” “Skylar is the nurse for a very fast-paced doctor and clinic. She continually works hard to exceed the expectations of her team, her doctor and her patients. She is always willing to learn anything that is needed to help our patients. She has a great attitude and always has a smile on her face regardless of circumstances.”
Five University Hospital employees named Great Catch winners
Great Catch awards are given to employees for instances in which they spoke up for safety, escalated concerns, and went above and beyond outside of the scope of their typical job duties. Each quarter, Safety MVPs are chosen for recognition from all Great Catch award winners for each USA Health facility.

Richard J. Gualtieri, M.D., brings a wealth of experience to the health system, with clinical expertise spanning general oncology — particularly lung, breast, and colorectal cancers — as well as blood cancers and nonmalignant blood disorders.
