Brown receives Daisy Nurse Leader Award

Katrina Brown, RN, chief nursing officer at Providence Hospital, was presented with a DAISY Nurse Leader Award. Comments from her nomination included:

"Katrina is 100% dedicated to the profession of nursing. She is constantly seeking a solution to any number of problems. It would be impossible to list all the initiatives she’s led over the years or imagine the hours she has spent on this campus problem solving. She is often on-site during holidays, weekends, and nights serving our patients and staff. She works under an incredible amount of pressure but carries herself so well. She’s visible and accessible. She has difficult conversations with families and staff when issues arise. She continuously presses forward and has led her team through many changes and challenges over the years."
