Join USA Health for the Strides Against ALS walk in support of the Kelly Butler ALS Center! Participation is free, but participants are encouraged to register to create teams to encourage more awareness and donations.

FreeFundraising for the Kelly Butler ALS Center is vital to support its mission of providing comprehensive care and advancing research for individuals affected by amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). The center offers a multidisciplinary approach to ALS care, including services from neurologists, therapists, and support staff.
The center is named in honor of Kelly Butler, a dedicated public servant who served as Alabama's State Finance Director. In 2021, Butler announced his retirement due to complications associated with ALS. Despite his diagnosis, he continued to advocate for ALS research and support, receiving the Impact Award from the ALS Association in 2023 for his efforts. The naming of the center serves as a tribute to his commitment to public service and his advocacy for those affected by ALS.
