About Shannon Noelle Davis, CRNP, DNP

Noelle Davis has been an acute care nurse practitioner (ACNP) in the Surgical-Trauma Intensive Care Unit since 2008. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Troy University in 2003 and began working as a registered nurse in the Intensive Care Unit at University Hospital. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing in the Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program in 2007 and Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2019 from the University of South Alabama. She was awarded the Emerging Alumni Achievement Award from the USA College of Nursing in 2018 and the Outstanding Nurse Practitioner Regional Bay Area Award from the Nurse Practitioner Alliance of Alabama in 2017. Davis serves on many hospital committees and is the first non-physician chair of the Critical Care Committee. In addition, she helped establish the Advanced Practice Providers Leadership Council and served as its first president. She also serves as a part-time faculty member within the College of Nursing ACNP program.
