Walmart, Sam’s Club launch Children’s Miracle Network campaign on the Alabama Gulf Coast
For nearly 40 years, Children’s Miracle Network partnerships have raised more than $11 million to support patients and families at Children’s & Women’s Hospital.
Shoppers at Walmart and Sam’s Club locations across Mobile and Baldwin counties have an opportunity to support local children’s healthcare during the annual Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals fundraising campaign spanning Monday, June 8, through Sunday, July 5.
During the campaign, customers will be invited to donate at checkout. Even small donations add up quickly, and those funds help provide critical care, lifesaving treatments, specialized equipment, and family support services for children treated at USA Health Children’s & Women’s Hospital, the area’s CMN hospital partner.
Walmart and Sam’s Club have partnered with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals locally since 1988. In 2025 alone, the campaign raised $185,000 for local children’s healthcare. Lifetime giving through the local Walmart partnership totals $3.7 million.
Participating locations include all Walmart Supercenters, Walmart Neighborhood Markets and Sam’s Club stores in Mobile and Baldwin counties, as well as participating stores in Jackson, Alabama, and Lucedale, Mississippi.
“This campaign provides crucial support as we care for children and families when they need us most,” said Deborah Browning, MSN, RN, CENP, chief executive officer at Children’s & Women’s Hospital. “Every donation stays here in our community and helps us provide lifesaving care, advanced equipment, and essential support services. That local generosity makes a real and immediate difference for the children we serve every day.”
JB Bramblett, a Fairhope teen who was a patient at Children’s & Women’s Hospital and serves as the 2026 local champion for CMN, has been visiting area Walmart stores and Sam’s Clubs ahead of the official campaign start to help raise awareness for how donations help local children.
