To make it more convenient for USA Health employees and anyone age 12 and older to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, the Pfizer-BioNTech injections now will be available on weekdays at the USA Health Strada Patient Care Center.

“This is not only for our employees and our patients, but also for their family members and caregivers, and anyone who is age 12 and up,” said Sarah Kahalley, R.N., M.S.H.A., director of clinical resources for USA Health Physicians Group.

No appointments are needed, and walk-ups are welcome at the clinic, located in Room 3007 on the third floor at Strada. Vaccines will be offered from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

“Our hope is that embedding a clinic at Strada will make it more convenient for our providers, who are encouraging their patients and caregivers to get the vaccine, to send them over after their regular appointments,” Kahalley said.

Since Dec. 15, 2020, USA Health has provided more than 73,000 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine to those along the upper Gulf Coast, including frontline workers and children as young as 12.

You also can self-schedule an appointment at the drive-through clinic located at the Mobile Civic Center Arena in downtown Mobile. To schedule at that location, visit usahealthvaccines.com.
