For the convenience of patients, the USA Health Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Strada Patient Care Center has opened a Saturday clinic.

On the first and third Saturday of each month, nurse practitioners will see patients for routine OB-GYN check-ups and other medical needs. Mimi Munn, M.D., chair of obstetrics and gynecology at the USA College of Medicine and a maternal-fetal medicine physician at USA Health, hopes women will take advantage of this new clinic.

“We started the Saturday clinic to provide care to patients who could not access us Monday through Friday due to work schedules or child care issues,” she said. “We know how hard it may be for women to get care. Everything else seems to take priority in our lives, so giving women another option to take care of themselves is important.”

Providers at this location include Jennifer Catalanotto, CRNP, Lorna Hayes, CRNP, Tina Higgins, CRNP and Allie Moore, CRNP.

The Saturday clinic will be open from 7 a.m. until noon. To make an appointment, call (251) 415-1496.
