Celebrate the centennial of the American Heart Association by joining the Mobile Heart Walk and show your support for USA Health teams who are walking to make a difference.

Six teams from USA Health, the academic health system for the University of South Alabama, are striving to raise money this week ahead of the Mobile Heart Walk planned for Saturday, Nov. 2 on USA’s campus.

The 2024 Mobile Heart Walk chairs are Jo Bonner, president of the University of South Alabama, and his wife, Janee.

The six teams from USA Health represent employees from administration, University Hospital, Children’s & Women’s Hospital, Providence Hospital, physician enterprise, and the Whiddon College of Medicine. Together, they have raised more than $7,000 so far.

Donations can also be made online. Funds generated from the walk help fund heart disease and stroke research. To contribute online, click the appropriate link below:
