USA Health Mitchell Cancer Institute community golf tournament set for June 12 at Magnolia Grove

The USA Health Mitchell Cancer Institute (MCI) will host its Par 3 Golf Tournament on Thursday, June 12 at Magnolia Grove Golf Course, with presenting sponsor Lexus of Mobile. This event combines competitive fun with community impact, raising vital funds to support cancer care advancements at MCI.

Tournament Schedule:

  • Registration & Lunch: 11:30 a.m.
  • Tee Off: 1:00 p.m.
  • Awards Reception: Following tournament play

Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the MCI Excellence Fund, supporting the purchase of critical medical equipment and innovative software that directly enhance patient outcomes and treatment efficiency.

Players will enjoy a dynamic format with prizes awarded on every hole. Highlights include a Closest to the Pin prize and Hole-In-One opportunities on all holes—sponsored by Lexus of Mobile.

A variety of sponsorship levels offer businesses and individuals the opportunity to contribute while receiving valuable recognition. Sponsorships include:

  • Double Eagle Sponsor – $10,000
  • Golf Cart Sponsor – $5,000
  • Award Reception Sponsor – $3,500
  • Putting Contest Sponsor – $3,000
  • Chipping Contest Sponsor – $3,000
  • Hole Watching Sponsor – $2,500
  • Ace Sponsor – $2,000
  • Team Registration – $1,600
  • Hole Sponsor – $300

The Double Eagle Sponsor includes two teams (eight players total), while all other sponsor levels (excluding Hole Sponsors) include one four-player team. Hole Sponsorship does not include tournament play. Select sponsorship levels—including Award Reception, Putting Contest, Chipping Contest, and Hole Watching—are limited to a single sponsorship slot, offering exclusive visibility at the event.
