The Bramblett family hopes that sharing JB’s story may offer hope to others going through similar circumstances.

Published Mar 11th, 2026

Fairhope teen JB Bramblett, the 2026 Children’s Miracle Network Champion for USA Health Children’s & Women’s Hospital, was recognized March 7 during opening day of youth baseball at the same park where he learned to play.

As hundreds gathered in the stands and on the field, JB threw out the opening pitch at Volanta Baseball Park. He has been a patient at Children’s & Women’s Hospital twice, once after sustaining burns to his hands as a toddler and later, at age 10, when he was diagnosed with Kawasaki Syndrome.

Now an active teen, JB and his family are making plans to participate in fundraising and awareness campaigns alongside Children’s Miracle Network partners, including local businesses, athletics, schools, and civic organizations. Such collaborations help connect local donors to continue supporting the future health of local children.

For nearly 40 years, Children’s Miracle Network partnerships have raised more than $11 million to support patients and families at Children’s & Women’s Hospital. The Bramblett family, including JB, his parents and sisters, hopes that sharing his story may offer hope to others going through similar circumstances.
