Members of the University of Delaware football team visited USA Health Children’s & Women’s Hospital ahead of the 68 Ventures Bowl hosted at Hancock-Whitney Stadium on Dec. 17.
Thirty-five players, coaches and staff spent time with patients in the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU), infusion center, and the hospital’s playroom known as the Treehouse.
During the two-hour visit, players and coaches talked to patients and their caregivers, while family members took photos and collected autographs.
