
Meet the key speakers for the 15th Annual Gulf Coast Trauma Symposium
Participants will hear from nationally recognized speakers, participate in interactive sessions covering all aspects of trauma care, and network with peers and stakeholders from across the region.
Healthcare professionals, students, EMS personnel, and community leaders will hear from nationally recognized speakers at the 15th Annual Gulf Coast Trauma Symposium, set for March 24-25 at the Golden Nugget Biloxi Hotel & Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi.

Kenji Inaba, M.D., FACS, will present “Los Angeles 2028, Active Shooter at a Mass Gathering Event Preparation” for the Mitchell Endowed Lectureship on Tuesday, March 24. Inaba is vice chair of the Department of Surgery and chief of the Division of Trauma, Acute Care Surgery and Surgical Critical Care at Keck Medicine of the University of Southern California.

Juan Duchesne, M.D., FACS, FCCM, FCC, will present “Selective Prehospital Advanced Resuscitative Care” for the John Campbell Lectureship on Wednesday, March 25. Duchesne is director of the Level I trauma center at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
