Work crews put the final touches on the remodeling and expanding project in the space at University Hospital that previously served as the emergency department prior to the opening of the Fanny Meisler Trauma Center. The renovated space will house a 13,886-square-foot, state-of-the-art operating suite featuring four operating rooms, a hybrid operating room, and 12 additional post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) beds.
