Renovations are in progress on the fifth floor at Children's & Women's Hospital, where a new postpartum unit is planned. Completion is expected in the fall of 2022 on the project, which will feature larger rooms for mothers and their newborns. Children's & Women's Hospital is the area's leader in births, with more than 2,400 babies born here each year.
