Renovations are in progress on the fifth floor at Children's & Women's Hospital where a new postpartum unit is planned. Completion is expected in the fall of 2022 on the project that will feature larger rooms for mothers and their newborns. Children's & Women's Hospital is the area's leader in births with more than 2,400 babies born here each year.
