In an effort to provide employees with easily accessible information and useful online tools, USA Health has launched the Employee Hub, a newly designed website just for USA Health employees.

The website, which replaces the USA Health Intranet, makes it easy for employees to locate forms and documents, get news updates, access employee contact information and request help from the IT Service Desk, among other tasks.

“It is so important for our employees to have an easily accessible method for getting the information they need to do their jobs, make decisions about benefits, learn about new things happening within the health system and so much more,” said Gary Mans, associate vice president for marketing and communications for USA Health.

“Over the past two years we have been looking to create a better tool for people. In the past few months we have joined with our colleagues in IT and developed a modern approach that we believe people will find more useful than our old Intranet system,” he said.

“The Employee Hub draws on the latest in web design to make it easy for employees to find what they need quickly,” said Steven Travers, chief information officer for USA Health. “This helps us to provide the best customer service for our patients and our coworkers.”

Travers said that the Employee Hub will be a continually evolving project, with new features being added and updated as needed. “The goal is to gather feedback and implement changes to make the site work better for our employees,” Travers said.

The Employee Hub can be accessed by any device that is connected to the USA Health network, including work-issued iPads, phones and computers. Access from the Guest network and outside networks will be added in the future.

The Employee Hub homepage can be accessed in three ways:

  • Opening the Google Chrome browser, which immediately takes the user to the Employee Hub homepage
  • Clicking on the Employee Hub link
  • Clicking on the Employee Hub banner on the old Health Systems Intranet page

The Employee Hub’s homepage offers nine “buttons” for quick access to documents, benefits, IT Service Desk, employee directory, employee recognition, regulatory/compliance, RL6 and USA Health brand guidelines.

The homepage also includes quick links to frequently used logins such as the COVID Attestation, webmail, Cerner, HealthStream, Zoom and Doximity.

More features are planned in the coming months, including a link to on-call schedules for healthcare providers.

Employees still can access the old Health Systems Intranet using a link on the home page of the new Employee Hub. Those who have trouble locating resources on the new site should notify the IT Service Desk.
