The toy drive gives local families the opportunity to buy new gifts for children at reduced prices.

University Hospital employees again participated in the annual toy drive for the Dumas Wesley Community Center in Mobile. This year, donations from employees filled two and a half mailroom courier vans and were delivered to Dumas Wesley recently.

“The success of this year’s event reflects the generosity of our employees,” said Destiny Lankster, volunteer services specialist at University Hospital. “The departments were excited to contribute, and the Dumas Wesley team was very thankful for our continued support of the toy drive. We look forward to supporting them in the future.”

The new, unwrapped toys are used in Dumas Wesley’s toy sale, which gives local families an opportunity to buy new gifts for children at reduced prices. University Hospital employees have been donating to this local toy drive since 2002.
