Volunteers from the University Hospital nursing leadership team prepared a meal for families staying at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Mobile on June 29. The charity provides pediatric patients and their families a place to stay while receiving care at locations including USA Health Children's & Women's Hospital. Thanks to the charity, families who live outside the area can stay close to the hospital during treatment, so they can avoid spending time on the road or paying for a hotel.
