USA Health Stroke Program to participate in Project Homeless Connect

The stroke team will provide stroke education, health awareness, and personal care items to those in need.

Published Jan 20th, 2026

The USA Health Stroke Program will participate in Project Homeless Connect on Friday, Jan. 23, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Grounds. This one-day event connects those experiencing homelessness with valuable services, free of charge, including healthcare, legal assistance, housing assistance, veterans’ resources, employment services, hygiene services, clothing, supplies, education, identification, and other vital assistance.

USA Health's stroke team will offer stroke education, health awareness, and personal care items to those in need. Thanks to donations, more than 200 individuals were impacted last year. The program is again collecting men’s socks, underwear, and wet wipes, but toys and baby items are also needed to better serve families attending the event.

Monetary donations can be sent via Venmo to @emily-dahlmann. If you would like to support the effort in another way or have questions about donations, please contact [email protected].
