Leslie LeAnn Neese, C.R.N.A., a nurse anesthetist at Children’s & Women’s Hospital received a Daisy Award for Extraordinary Nurses. Created by the Daisy Foundation, the award honors the super-human work nurses do for patients and families every day.

Allsup named employee of the month

Jean Allsup, R.N., a nurse who works in the infusion suite at the Mitchell Cancer Institute, was named employee of the month. Among the comments made about Allsup: “There is no more dependable nurse at the MCI than Jean Allsup. She is hardworking and absolutely reliable in every way. She is a seasoned nurse who is consistent in all things. She has wonderful instincts as a nurse and always adds insightful, well-thought-out suggestions that help in process development.”
