Units win Most Consistent Sapphire Awards

The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Children’s & Women’s Hospital won the Most Consistent Sapphire Award based on a national, standardized survey of patient perspectives, the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) survey. The PICU scored 100 percent for overall rating of care by caregivers and patients during October and December.

The Medical Intensive Care Unit at University Hospital was among the winners of the HCAHPS Most Consistent Sapphire Award for the first quarter of fiscal 2022 based on the HCAHPS survey. The MICU scored 98 percent for overall rating of care in October and November.

Cheers for Peers winner named

Angie Judice Yates, a radiologic technologist supervisor for MRI at Children’s & Women’s Hospital, has been named the Cheers for Peers winner for December. Yates was nominated by her team for always being willing to lend a helping hand and for going above and beyond for her staff.
