Walker receives Daisy Award
Anthony Walker, BSN, RN, a trauma nurse on the eighth floor at University Hospital, was presented with a Daisy Award for extraordinary nurses.
Schonemann named employee of the month
Katrina Schonemann, infusion nurse at the Mitchell Cancer Institute Kilborn Clinic in Fairhope, was named employee of the month in December. Among comments made about her: “Katrina is consistently mentioned by patients as the nurse who genuinely listens and answers concerns in a thoughtful manner.” “Katrina Schonemann is a GREAT nurse! She shines every day, but in a crisis, she is brilliant!.”
