Schulingkamp receives Daisy Award
Amy Schulingkamp, CRNP, a nurse practitioner at the USA Health Heart Center located inside of University Hospital, was presented with a Daisy Award. The award allows colleagues, patients and patients’ families to recognize extraordinary nurses and the contributions they make every day.
Collins named employee of the month
Lynn Collins, RN, BSN, OCN, supervisor of the infusion suite located at USA Health Mitchell Cancer Institute, was named employee of the month for November. Among the comments provided about her: “She is respectful to all of her co-workers, genuinely listens to their concerns and is truly interested in making the work environment the best it can be.” “Lynn is a great team member and puts others before herself.” “She can take the worst of a situation and find something good in it.”
Falco receives kudos at University Hospital
Vince Falco, RN, a nurse who works on the fifth floor at University Hospital, was recognized by three patients in one month for the great care he provided.
