PCU wins Most Consistent Sapphire Award
The Progressive Care Unit on the ninth floor of USA Health University Hospital, has won the Most Consistent Sapphire Award based on a national, standardized survey of patient perspectives, the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems survey. The unit maintained an overall rating of care above the 75th percentile for two months.
Nurse manager recognizes Hutchisson
Celeste Hutchisson, R.N., a nurse in the Progressive Care Unit at University Hospital, was recognized by a co-worker for going above and beyond for a patient and the patient’s family during a difficult time. Hutchisson is shown with nurse manager Kimberly Tucker, R.N.

Gailyn Smith, B.S.N., R.N., a nurse in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at USA Health Children’s & Women’s Hospital, has received a DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses. The DAISY Award honors the super-human work that nurses do for patients and families every day.
