The Providence Foundation will host the 26th Annual Charity Golf Classic on Thursday, Aug. 21, at the picturesque Lakewood Golf Course in Point Clear, Alabama. Proceeds from the event will directly support patient care initiatives at USA Health Providence Hospital.

Tee-off is at 9 a.m., followed by a post-tournament lunch and awards ceremony at 2 p.m., featuring door prize drawings and the announcement of the day’s winners. The tournament follows a four-person scramble format, welcoming golfers of all skill levels.

Each player will receive a Peter Millar gift package, and mulligans can be purchased online in advance or in person on the day of the event.

“This tournament is more than a great day of golf; it’s a meaningful way to support our mission of providing compassionate, high-quality care to the communities we serve,” said Rick Metzger, MMHC, BSN, CEO of USA Health Providence Hospital. “The generosity of our sponsors and participants plays a direct role in improving patient outcomes and expanding access to care for those who need it most.”
