Employees are encouraged to use MyUSAHealth to get answers to questions about their healthcare, whether they involve appointments, records or prescriptions. To sign up, employees must visit a USA Health clinic or facility and request an email invitation to access the system.

Linda Hudson, chief HIPAA compliance officer for USA Health, said the portal offers several benefits for employees who use it. MyUSAHealth protects personal healthcare information, provides quick access to records and enhances the patient experience.

“You are able to utilize the portal to efficiently accomplish tasks such as requesting prescription refills that would normally require a phone call,” Hudson said. “You can also view or cancel upcoming appointments, pre-register, see your visit history, access your medical records, and view lab and surgery reports.”

The portal can also improve health and wellness. “It gives patients easier and more convenient access, which can lead to greater patient compliance and ultimately improve clinical outcomes,” Hudson said.

For questions, employees may contact patient portal access clerks Deana Marrill at USA Health Children’s & Women’s Hospital (251-415-1392); or Valetta Manual and Lisa Lucy at USA Health University Hospital (251-471-7046).
