Betty Pledger recently retired after 40 years of service with the University of South Alabama. In particular, she played a vital role in the Department of Surgery for 35 years, retiring as a Secretary V. At a reception in her honor, staffers said, "She warms everyone she touches. She feeds us all literally and spiritually." Watch her retirement video.
