USA Health regularly recognizes employees for going above and beyond in their care of patients and customer service.

Recognizing that scammers take advantage of shoppers during the holidays, the Federal Trade Commission has created a blog cleverly named the “12 Days of Consumer Protection.”

Leslie Carley, nurse manager for the labor and delivery unit at USA Health Children’s & Women’s Hospital, will retire after almost 20 years of service. Her last day is Friday, Dec. 11.

The center will remain open through Dec. 19 and will also be open Dec. 21-23 and Dec. 28-31. The center resumes its normal hours on Jan. 2.

Department managers will pick up and distribute boxed lunches on Monday, Dec. 14, and Friday, Dec. 18, depending on location. Holiday gifts will be distributed by managers on Friday, Dec. 18.
