USA Health participated in UMS-Wright’s Careers on Wheels day recently, sharing what they do and how they use their vehicles to do their jobs.

USA Health Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine introduced students to the mobile health unit with orthopaedic surgeon Brad Clay, M.D., orthopaedic resident Thomas Boyd, M.D., Director of Operations Derek Kent, Dani Ellis, and Jennifer Byrd.

In addition, members of the USA Health Children’s & Women’s Hospital Cub Crew showcased the neonatal/pediatric transport unit.

Troy M. Sofinowski, M.D., is an expert in the use of minimally invasive surgical techniques for treating complex kidney stones and enlarged prostates. Many of these minimally invasive procedures can be performed in an outpatient setting, allowing patients to recover more quickly with less pain.
