USA Health employees are making an impact in our community. Learn about some of their recent service and outreach projects.
USA Health Chaplain Kim Crawford Meeks spent time reading to children in kindergarten through second grade at Holloway Elementary School dressed as Mother Goose. Her visit was part of the USA Health University Hospital community outreach program.

“The sports physical day that USA Health partners with MCPSS to provide to high school athletes is a pinnacle of our relationship,” said Peter Rippey, M.D., CAQSM.
MCI will host its annual Par 3 Golf Tournament on June 12, with proceeds directly benefiting cancer research, patient care services, and support programs like the ones that helped Kristen Sayles through her journey.
“We know this program has a positive, lasting impact on the teenagers and the patients and staff members they assist,” said Rebekah Blanchard, director of volunteer services at USA Health.
As of Thursday, 196 safety and feedback forms had been submitted through the new SHIELD safety reporting platform. This reflects an almost 100% increase when compared to prior averages.
