What is your job? What does it entail?
Skin care consultant. I work as an esthetician for USA Health Dermatology and sell facial products.
What is your favorite or most rewarding part of your position?
Helping patients achieve healthier looking skin! My new favorite procedure is the Skin Wave! It is an aqua-delivery system that uses alpha hydroxy acids, beta hydroxy acids and hyaluronic acid to exfoliate, rejuvenate and hydrate the skin. It helps to brighten skin tones and texture as well as manage oily or acne-prone skin.
What originally made you want to join USA Health?
I was in the dermatology field with Dr. Frederick Bodie for 23 years when USA Health bought his practice.
How long have you been with USA Health?
24 years.
What has working with USA Health taught you?
This last year has been very challenging due to COVID-19, but USA Health has always put the health and safety of our patients first.
Do you have any goals that you want to achieve in the health system?
I want to give patients the best care possible. Whether it is with facials, new procedures, facial products or a visit with one of our doctors, we can customize a plan to help meet their skin care goals.
What is your favorite hobby or pastime outside of work?
Spending time with my family. We enjoy going to the beach or going fishing.
Do you have any advice for people who want to work in the health system?
USA Health is a great company to work for. I would recommend it wholeheartedly.
