National maternal health webinar features four USA Health leaders

The seminar covered how USA Health leveraged electronic medical record data to improve outcomes and how Children's & Women's Hospital broadened its efforts to address maternal hemorrhage disparities.

Following a successful project focused on improving maternal health by using electronic medical record data, four leaders from USA Health took part in a May webinar hosted by Becker’s Hospital Review to share insights from a 2023 initiative at USA Health Children’s & Women’s Hospital.

The online seminar covered how USA Health leveraged electronic medical record data to improve outcomes for hypertension in female patients and then how the hospital broadened its efforts to address maternal hemorrhage disparities in partnership with the Alabama Perinatal Quality Collaborative.
