Work continues on the pond in Geri Moulton Children’s Park near the entrance of USA Health Children’s & Women’s Hospital. Roots from the surrounding trees created cracks in the bottom of the original water feature, so members of the Grounds and Landscaping Department at the University of South Alabama are redesigning and rebuilding it. Removal of the old pond began in early June, and work on the new pond is expected to be complete later this summer.
