Miracle Treat Day events set for Children’s & Women’s Hospital
To help support Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals — including our own — Children’s & Women’s Hospital employees can pre-order a Blizzard from the Saraland Dairy Queen to be delivered July 31 to the hospital.
Patients, families and staff at Children’s & Women’s Hospital are in for some sweet summer fun as Miracle Treat Day is set for Thursday, July 31, from 2 to 4 p.m., in the ClassAct room.
The event will feature a carnival theme, complete with festive decorations, craft activities, and circus-style entertainment for pediatric patients and their families. Hospital employees are encouraged to show their spirit by adding fun accessories to their typical work wear such as suspenders, clown hats, red noses, and silly socks.
The celebration will include activities in the fourth-floor ClassAct and Teen Lounge.
How you can help
As part of the national Miracle Treat Day initiative benefiting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, the Saraland Dairy Queen is offering Blizzard Treats to purchase for preorder.
Orders will be delivered to Children’s & Women’s Hospital and available for pickup from 2 to 3 p.m., July 31, in the Panda Cares Room, formerly the multipurpose room.
Payments can be made by cash or Venmo at the time of pickup.

For every Blizzard sold, $1 will go directly to support pediatric patients at the hospital.
