Laporte named employee of the month
Wendy Laporte, RN, a nurse navigator at the Mitchell Cancer Institute, was named employee of the month for August. Among the comments made about Laporte:
- “Wendy is an outstanding nurse navigator. She is very thorough when assessing for barriers to care, and meeting each patient’s needs.”
- “As the breast cancer navigator, Wendy does a great job of communicating with and supporting the other members of the breast team.”
