USA Health hospitals honor nurses with DAISY Awards
University Hospital and Children’s & Women’s Hospital presented several nurses with DAISY Awards at a recent ceremony. The DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses was created by the DAISY Foundation to honor the super-human work that nurses do for patients and families every day.
Nurses honored at University Hospital:
Kayla Jackson, R.N., a nurse on the 11th floor, won a DAISY Award.Kaylin Harper, R.N., a nurse in interventional radiology, won a DAISY Award. Josh Holt, R.N., a nurse in the intensive care unit, won a DAISY Award. Jordan Ragsdale, R.N., a nurse in the pediatric emergency department, won a DAISY Award. Sonya Kimbrough, R.N., a nurse in high-risk OB, won a DAISY Award. Krysta Lyon, R.N., a nurse in the women’s complex care unit, won a DAISY Award. Nicole Branna Lawrence, R.N., a nurse on the pediatrics floor, was nominated for a DAISY Award. Hayley Howell, R.N., a nurse on the pediatrics floor, was nominated for a DAISY Award. Donna Ward, R.N., a nurse in the neonatal intensive care unit, was nominated for a DAISY Award.
