BEE Award winner recognized for work ethic and excellent attitude
Victoria Gregory, a phlebotomist in the lab at Children’s & Women’s Hospital, received a BEE Award in March for her work ethic and positive attitude, among other attributes. Here is what some of her colleagues had to say about her:
- “She is professional, pleasant, and wonderful to work with. Regardless of the number of labs ordered, she completes her duties with absolutely no complaints.”
- “She comes in every shift with a positive attitude and a smile. She has excellent communication skills and has deescalated several difficult patients. She goes above and beyond. As a nurse I look forward to the days she works.”
- “She is an asset to our hospital! She is always cheerful, even at 5 a.m.! She not only treats the patients with kindness and respect, but she also does the same with the nurses!”

BEE award winner Shirley Buskey recognized for kindness at Providence Hospital
Shirley Buskey, who works in security at Providence Hospital, was recently recognized with a BEE Award for the compassionate way she treats patients and their families, among other attributes. The spouse of a patient recently nominated Buskey for helping her locate her family member. “Once I got to the second level, a friendly face checked on me,” the spouse wrote in her recommendation. “I told her my concern and Ms. Shirley kindly turned me around and headed me to the other side to the right destination. I’m very appreciative!”
MCI celebrates March Employee of the Month, Monsenya Thompson-Stallworth
USA Health Mitchell Cancer Institute recognizes Monsenya Thompson-Stallworth, who is a part of the diagnostic scheduling team, as its Employee of the Month for March, recognizing her exceptional dedication to patients and colleagues. A reliable and efficient team member, she expertly manages a high volume of diagnostics while navigating complex scheduling needs with ease. Known for her strong communication and relationship-building skills, Stallworth ensures patients feel informed, supported and prioritized. Her positive attitude, adaptability and willingness to go above and beyond make her an invaluable asset to the team at MCI.
