Providence Hospital names DAISY Award winner
Tina Thompson, an LPN on Level 12 at Providence Hospital, was honored as the December 2025 DAISY Award recipient in recognition of her exceptional compassion and commitment to patient care. The DAISY Award is an international program that celebrates nurses who go above and beyond to provide extraordinary clinical care and heartfelt kindness to patients and their families. Thompson was selected for her dedication to creating meaningful connections with her patients, consistently delivering care that reflects both professionalism and genuine empathy.
University Hospital presents ‘Winning Wednesdays’
University Hospital Patient Experience recognized three employees as part of its new “Winning Wednesdays” program. These recipients received kudos from patients or staff: Austin Williams, RN, a nurse in the medical intensive care unit, Linda Mose, anesthesia tech lead in the operating room; and Melissa Williams, endoscopy coordinator.
