Rollins named Safety MVP at Children’s & Women’s Hospital

Stephanie Rollins, RN, a nurse in the pediatric intensive care unit, was named the Safety MVP for the quarter at Children’s & Women’s Hospital.

Hannah Grace Walker, RN, a nurse in the operating room, was named Safety MVP for the quarter at University Hospital.

Baliem named employee of the month

Wilma Baliem, ACNP-BC, AOCNP, a nurse practitioner at the Mitchell Cancer Institute, was named employee of the month for June.  

Among the comments made in her nomination:

  • “The word ‘no’ is not in her vocabulary. She is the hardest worker I have ever met! She not only works diligently for her own team but always helps other teams when they are in need.”
  • “She consistently delivers customer service by treating every customer with professionalism, empathy, and genuine care. Her positive attitude, clear communication, and willingness to go above and beyond helped build trust and create a positive experience for patients, families, and colleagues.”
  • “It takes a special kind of person to work in oncology, and Wilma is one of those people.”
